These shoes were purchased to where with my floor sweeping ball gown. It gives me just enough height so the dress does not drag on the floor. However I do have exceptionally wide feet and these shoes are just a little tight. I have not had a chance yet to wear them at one of the formal balls that I go to, but I do believe I will not need to spend the entire evening sitting because my feet hurt too much to stand.
