I love Naot sandals--they are comfortable, wear well and don't look too little-old-ladyish even though they are really supportive. The sandals came quickly, were well packaged and in good condition. The sale was a great price, too. However, this particular pair is tight --I have never had this problem before and may end up taking them somewhere professional to have them stretched out so they will feel more comfortable. I bought a different pair earlier this summer from a different vendor which did not have this problem, so I don't think it's my feet. Anyway, I still think it's a great sandal--would definitely reccommend them to anyone looking for a nicelooking, comfortable yet supportive sandal.

I'm a 27-year-old teacher with fibromyalgia and I hated that I had to enter an orthopedic shoe store, because I needed support and marshmallowy comfort to even consider leaving my home, so imagine my pleasure leaving the place with these! I adored this sandal so much, I bought it in 2 more colors (so now I have it in a mossy color, white, and bronze)! Its ankle-strap keeps me from going too far forward. The footbed is soooo comfy, yet supportive, and that, with its wide, soft leather straps, let me wear it on my worst, I-can't-stand-anything-touching-me days. Yet still, the way the foot-straps lie askew and a little further back from my toes, it doesn't look to old-woman-orthpedic-y. Even better, I wore one pair all day, every day, all summer and they're still almost like new.

I'd been looking for a "dressy" sandal that would still feel comfortable with my high arches. The NAOT Kayla fits the bill. This style is surprisingly narrow, which is great for me, but women with wider feet should take heed. In fact, it's narrower in width than my Birkenstock sandals in a narrow size. One downside is that my skin got a little rubbed between the two straps the first few times I wore them, but this may be due to one of my feet being smaller than the other--it didn't affect the other, longer foot. Also, these don't offer as much arch support as the Birkenstock sandal, so I'm not sure I'd wear them all day long standing up, or for hiking, as I do with my Birks. But I've been wearing them a lot with skirts and dresses and they look great and my feet don't ache afterwards, as they would with regular, no-support sandals. Finally, the price I got through Amazon was exceptionally low with the special discount they were offering the week I ordered them.
