They looked so cute on the website and I had heard so many great things about crocs from my nurse friend (never bought them though, as the regular ones are hideous), that I had to buy them and add them to my mary jane shoe collection. Big mistake! At first they were great. Cute, a little sweat inducing, but nothing too serious. I sit at a desk all day, except for my twice a day .67 mile walk to carpool. On the walk to carpool after work, my toes slipped out and i discovered a blister on my heel. No huge deal, I figured I would put on a blister pad and add a moleskin to the side buttons where the maryjane strap was attached as they were rubbing. The second day, I ended up getting huge blisters on both feet at the attachment sites and one on the top right instep. I put them away for a couple of weeks and decided to try them again yesterday with mole pads on the attachment sites and a moleskin on the top where it caused a blister. It a little better, but still super painful at the attachment sites. I took them off and put on flip flops, leaving them in the car overnight. Apparently, one was under the seat and one was on the floor and the one on the floor by the petals shrunk a full two sizes...overnight. It was hot outside, but nowhere near the 180 degree weather the website said to avoid. Needless to say, I will not be buying a replacement pair, or any crocs in the future.

Excellent buy for the money. Comfortable shoe. Easy to clean. I have a severly arthritic knee and found this shoe wears well through out the day. The footbed is lined with a textured surface that massages the foot.
These kinds of shoes don't breath because of the material. That is expected and I don't consider it a negative, but it might be a concern for anyone with "hot feet".

If you want a cute alternative to what you typically think of as Crocs, these are the shoes for you. You can't really garden in them but you can definitely wear them for an entire day of shopping and not feel any less fashionable. They are true to size and look great. I got the purple ones and I love them!

I think Dorothy would have loved these Ruby Red Alice Mary Jane crocs.
They have SO comfortable, cute and versatile. You can wear them in the rain and not worry. That is great for the Houston flooding rains, as well as, the Africa monsoons (where I also live). Good with socks or bare feet. These are my first pair of crocs. I love them! Now I would like them in the purple too please!
